Judoclub Goshin

Judoclub Goshin is a judo club based in Ghent, Belgium, offering training for all ages and experience levels. To support the club's communication and online presence, a new website was developed with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and ease of content management.

The website is fully content-driven, allowing the club to manage and update content independently through a custom Strapi CMS. All pages and sections are dynamically generated, ensuring flexibility and scalability as the club grows.

Designed with a clean and modern interface, the website provides visitors with easy access to information such as trainers, board members, techniques, and news.

The existing online presence lacked flexibility and required technical knowledge to update content. This made it difficult for the club to keep information up to date and communicate effectively with members and visitors.

The goal was to develop a website that enables non-technical users to easily manage content, while ensuring strong performance, scalability, and accessibility across all devices.

Additionally, the website needed to support structured content such as trainers, board members, and news articles, while remaining easy to navigate for visitors.

The website was developed using Remix.run, providing strong performance and a modern development architecture. Strapi was implemented as a headless CMS, enabling full control over content through a structured and intuitive backend.

Dynamic zones were used in Strapi to create flexible page structures, allowing the client to manage and expand content without requiring code changes. Custom content types were created for trainers, board members, and news articles, ensuring structured and organized data management.

The website includes search and filtering functionality, as well as infinite scrolling for content-heavy pages such as techniques and news. SEO best practices were implemented, and all SEO settings can be managed directly from the CMS.

The interface is fully responsive and includes both light and dark mode, with user preferences stored locally to ensure a consistent experience.

The new website provides Judoclub Goshin with a modern, scalable, and fully manageable online platform. The club can now easily update content, publish news, and maintain their online presence without technical assistance.

The structured CMS and dynamic architecture ensure the website remains flexible and future-proof, allowing the club to expand content as needed.
