Grateful to share my experience in Stuttgart!
Grateful to share my experience in Stuttgart!
Last week, I had the opportunity to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) AI meets SDGs at the Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart (HdM), where students from Thailand, Italy, the Netherlands and Germany collaborated for five days on the United Nations SDGs, with a focus on #sustainability and #AI.
I worked in a team with Marco Onofri (IT), Giulia Nobiloni (IT), Andreas Gino Melini (NL), Jil Stein (DE) and Vanessa Anni Bacher (DE). Together, we focused on SDG 4 - Quality Education.
We identified a growing issue: many young people (13-25) tend to accept AI-generated information without questioning it, which can negatively impact the quality of education. Our goal was to address this challenge.
On Thursday, we explored how the SDGs appear in daily life during an interactive tour through Stuttgart. On Friday, we attended the IEES - International Entrepreneurship Education Summit, followed by the Festival of Innovation – Winter Edition 2025, which continued until Sunday, where we developed and pitched our start-up concept.
Our solution became AI Detective: interactive workshops supported by a custom app that trains young people to critically analyse AI responses, spot inaccuracies and use AI more responsibly. The app includes a “red flags list” and a quiz-like game designed to build critical AI literacy.
A big thank you to Nils Hoegsdal, Kristof Raes, Gideon Bazen, Davide Cardea, Nicky Malfliet and all organisers for this wonderful opportunity. I’m grateful for the insights, the international collaboration and the new connections I gained.
